Last week was our enterprise week and it was a huge success. 
Thank you to all parents who came and were so generous. Every class had a budget of £30 to spend and create a handmade product to sell. Every class made a profit and had a lot of fun!

Today is Green Day at Southwark!

A whole day to:
* Learn about climate change
* Engage in fun activities.
* Explore connections between sustainability and the places we live and learn.
* Consider the impact of our lifestyle choices on our planet.
* Encourage everyone to take responsibility for the world around them.

Week beginning 3rd May- Monday is May Day so we are closed. Y3 go to Matlock this week.
Week beginning 10th May- Year 6 SATS.
Week beginning 24th May- Year 2 SATS and assessment for all other years. Y4 go to Skegness this week.
Week beginning 31st May- Half term so school is closed
Week beginning 14th June- Class photographs.
Week beginning 21st June- Book Fair
Week beginning 28th June- Sports Week
Week beginning 5th July- Whole School Production Week. Y6 visit their secondary schools on Wednesday. Reports issued on Friday.
Week beginning 12th July- Open Night for parent consultations on Wednesday. Close for the summer Friday 16th July.

This week is half term and all the staff at Southwark hope you have a lovely week. We are looking forward to seeing you all back on Monday 22nd February. We have lots of exciting things planned!
