Every single child from Nursery through to year 6 went down to Vernon Park to see the Queen, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge. Vernon park was granted Queen Elizabeth II Fields In Trust status. Area band, including several members from Southwark played for the Queen. There was a variety of sporting events taking place, again featuring Southwark athletes. We even made it into the news!
