MEDICATION IN SCHOOL
If your child has a new medical condition, or any changes to an existing medical condition, which school need to be aware of please inform your child's class teacher as soon as possible. We will then be able to contact you to discuss any plans which may need to be put into place to support your child.
If your child has any prescribed medication, THIS MUST BE SIGNED INTO SCHOOL THROUGH THE SCHOOL OFFICE. The only exception to this is asthma inhalers which must be given to the child's class teacher. A child cannot bring medication into school. This must be done via the child's parent who will discuss the situation with Mrs Swift. Please understand that we only administer medication in exceptional circumstances which need to be agreed by school.
It is vital that we are aware of all medical conditions which may impact your child's time in school. We want to work hard to support you and your child and ensure that we are doing everything we can to keep your child safe and well.
Please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Swift through the school office to discuss your child's medical condition or medication.
Thank you.
