Silly Science Workshops - British Science Week 2024 25.1.24

Dear Parents/ Carers,

We have an exciting opportunity for all our pupils, from Nursey to Year 6, to engage in some fascinating Silly Science Workshops to celebrate British Science Week 2024.

The workshops will take place in school on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th March 2024. We have arranged for ‘Professor Nitrate’ to guide your children through a science tour of discovery. They will learn about elements, why molecules bond, understand the magic of lift and the power of pressure as well as experiencing explosions! The science behind the experiments is curriculum based and will focus on gravity, thrust, lift, pressure, chemical reactions, fire, molecules and bonds and of course, explosions!

To enable us to do this, we would love for you to pay £2.00 towards the cost of this fantastic, immersive experience. If you can, please pay this via Scopay by Friday 8th March. You can pay in instalments or in full.
