Test & Trace and Easter

WHAT DO I DO IF MY CHILD TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID19 IN THE EASTER HOLIDAY?

Please read the instructions below – it is important that everyone understands the reporting arrangements.

It is possible that any child or adult who tests positive over the Easter holiday might have been infectious whilst in school. If your child has any Covid-19 symptoms, you must get a test. We do not need to know if a family member tests positive.

Where a child tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in school, we do not have to take action so you do not need to contact us. Please follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.

If a child tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), having developed symptoms within 48 hours of being in school, the school is asked to assist in identifying close contacts and advising self-isolation, as the individual may have been infectious whilst in school. Therefore, we ask you to complete the Microsoft Form below.

Those without internet can call 07534891585 and leave a message. Please only leave a message if you are unable to access the internet - the online form will be far easier for me to access during the holiday.

I will check the online form, and the voicemail of the phone number above, every morning at 10:00am, until 7th April. Please be prepared for a phone call back if I need to clarify information.

Please ensure you check Dojo during the half term break as I may need to contact you if Public Health England advise that you need to self isolate as you have been identified as a contact.

Please familiarise yourself with the form so you know what to do if you do need to complete it. DO NOT COMPLETE THIS FORM UNITL WE HAVE BROKEN UP FOR EASTER.

Thank you for your continued support.
