Handling Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Over Christmas

Good morning, everyone.

CHANGE TO SELF-ISOLATION GUIDANCE

On Friday, the government announced that there would be changes made to self-isolation guidance.

From today, anyone who is required to self-isolate due to being confirmed as a Covid19 contact, only has to do so for 10 days.

If you or your child are currently self-isolating, and this change means that your child should be back in school before the end of term, the school will call you today to discuss this.

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR CHILD TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.

As per my previous Dojo posts, please read the attached letter carefully. It will explain what you should do if your child tests positive over the Christmas holidays. I have attached it to this post so the information is all in one place.

We really hope that we don't have to do this, but it is very important that you follow the advice below so we can complete our track and trace responsibilities if we need to.

If your child TESTS POSITIVE AFTER SHOWING SYMPTOMS WITHIN 48 HOURS OF BEING IN SCHOOL please complete the online Microsoft form using the web link below. There is some information at the top of the form which you need to read first.

Those without internet can call 07534891585 and leave a message. Please only leave a message if you are unable to access the internet - the online form will be far easier for me to access during the holiday.

I will check the online form, and the voicemail of the phone number above, every morning at 10:00am for 6 days after Friday, 18th December. Please be prepared for a phone call back if I need to clarify information.

DO NOT COMPLETE THIS FORM UNITL WE HAVE BROKEN UP FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.

Please familiarise yourself with the form so you know what to do if you do need to complete it.

Thank you for your continued support.

Thanks.
