We hope you have had a fabulous half-term and are ready to get back to school tomorrow :)
This week's Picture News is all about farmers. The government is trying to encourage greener farming methods and believes that the next generation of farmers will be best equipped to make these changes. The government hopes younger farmers will be more open to new nature-friendly farming ideas and would be more likely to set up other businesses such as campsites to diversify how farmland is utilised.
This week's British value is INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY.

In a typical day, can you think of how many ways you have relied on farmers and agriculture? E.g., for your cereal at breakfast, to your drink of hot chocolate at the end of the day.
