Picture News & The Big Debate Club

Hello everybody,

Each week your child takes part in a class discussion about what's happening in the world right now.

Next week’s question is: How can we remember things that were important to us?

The news story with this is the tree at the centre of the world-famous 'Sycamore Gap' on Hadrian's Wall, England, has reportedly been ‘deliberately felled’ on the night of 28th September.

In years 1, 2 and 3 they will have time to talk about the picture news question in class.

In years 4,5 and 6 they will take part in their big debate question.

This week’s big debate question is: Should you feel guilty about killing insects?

Before next week why not discuss this with your child?

Enjoy!
