SEND - Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS)

Good afternoon,

It has been so wonderful to see all the children over the last week and share some of their stories of the summer :)

This year as part of our plans to continue to ensure that our school is an inclusive place for children to thrive, we have teamed up with 'Partnerships for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools' - A national programme involving parent/carers, schools, plus educational and health specialists.

As part of this programme, we are going to be working with Rainbow Parent/Carer Forum. They are a support group and independent voice for parent carers who have a child with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Attached here, you will find a flyer with more information.

In order to gather parent/carer's thought, we ask if you could please complete the attached survey. All parents can complete this, even if their child doesn’t have a diagnosis. Please speak to our SENDCo for the link to complete the survey. It would be great to get as many of your views as possible as this will be used to inform our plans as a school moving forward.

Opportunity: We also have an opportunity for you to join the forum as a parent/carer. This will give you more information on neurodiversity and also allow you the chance to have your say. There are 3 meetings throughout the year, the first one is Wednesday October 1st at 9am in school. If you are interested in this, please send me a Dojo message to confirm. Numbers are limited so I will confirm your place as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please let Mrs Shaw know.
