Southwark Values Assembly: EMPATHY

Yesterday, in our assemblies across school, we focussed on our Southwark Value of EMPATHY.

We learnt that empathy is about trying to understand how others feel. When we know how they are feeling, we can take steps to help them.

Please take the time to discuss the assembly slides attached to this post with your children at home. There are some video clips for you to watch and some real life scenarios which help us understand how we can show empathy to others around us.

If we all put empathy into action, we will be better friends and better people!
