We are a Music Mark school! (14.9.23)

Dear Parents & Carers,

We are so proud here at Southwark for the musical opportunities we provide all of our children. The Nottingham Music School also agrees and has awarded us the Music Mark for providing high quality music education.

Ten of our Year 5 children have also just returned from a two day residential music camp in Derbyshire. The ten children were chosen for showing real talent in their Year 4 guitar lessons. They took part in musical orienteering, played a range of instruments, developed their understanding of notation and worked alongside other Nottingham schools to sing and perform a piece of music together! What an amazing experience!
