Good afternoon, everyone.
WE SCARE HUNGER SOCIAL ACTION PROJECT
As you saw on my Dojo messages earlier this week, we are all taking part in a social action project to help support families and individuals in our local area who are facing challenges which result in them not having enough food. The children have come up with a wonderful idea to collect items which can be delivered to our nearest food bank before Christmas. If you can, please help us by bringing in some tins or packets of food next week. Please don't bring in food that won't last and make sure it is within it's use by date. We will store these in our bubbles until they are safe to collect together and deliver to the local food bank during the last week of term. If we all give a little, we can collect a lot between us all! I will send some more information out on Monday about this. The children also thought it would be a lovely gesture to write some Christmas cards to go into food parcels which the food bank sends out over the festive period! Again, these will be rested for 72 hours before they are collected up safely and delivered to the food bank alongside the food.

RECEPTION & NURSERY
A lot of hard work has been put in to enable us to produce a Nativity and Christmas Cracker for our youngest children in school. These performances will be following Covid safety guidelines and will be filmed to enable parents to see this at some point during the last week of term. More information will follow from Mrs Evans.
CHRISTMAS CARDS AND PRESENTS
Unfortunately, we cannot allow Christmas cards or gifts to be brought into school and shared. We are really sad about this but the rule is in place to reduce the risk of transmission across the school. Thank you for your understanding.
